BLiTS Account Management

This page shows you how to create and manage an account in the KompiTech Blockchain Platform for BLiTS.

Account

The purpose of an account is to provide billing information of your legal entity for invoicing and other billing purposes as well as to group individual organizations into a single billing account.

Note

If a user wants to have different billing information for each organization it is recommended to create an account for each organization.

Create Account

This section covers how to create an account in the KompiTech Blockchain Platform for BLiTS.

About this section

There are 2 possible ways to create an account and will be described below:

  • First account - a user wants to create the first account.

  • Additional accounts - a user wants to create additional accounts.

Create an Account

To create your first account:

  1. Navigate to the Login page https://platform.kompitech.com/ .

  2. Login either with Google account or Office 365 or Active Directory.

  3. Fill in the Create Account form with correct billing information as this data will be used to generate invoices for you or your company account purposes.

  4. Next fill in your Organization name.

  5. Optionally, invite other users to access your account by selecting user rights and their email address. This will send them an email invite for acceptance.

Manage Account

This section covers how to manage an account in the KompiTech Blockchain Platform.

About this section

The 5 sections encompassing account management are described below:

  • Create an organization - create a new organization.

  • Manage organizations - manage organizations that belong to an account.

  • Manage users - user access, rights, and grants assignment.

  • Change Account Details - allows a user to change company details for billing and invoicing.

Create an Organization

Creating the first organization is part of the Create Account section. To create more than one organization under a single account:

  1. First Login to your existing account.

  2. Select any of your organization.

  3. In the top menu select the Organization dropdown list.

  4. A pop up will appear.

  5. In the top right pop up window corner select Organization + button

  6. Select to which account the organization will belong to.

  7. Fill in Name of the new organization.

Manage Your Organization

To view the list of organizations in your account:

  1. First Login with your existing account.

  2. Select your organization.

  3. Click on your profile icon in the top right corner and select My accounts.

  4. Select an account in the table.

  5. Under the Organizations section, you will be able to see organizations names and IDs that belong to your account.

  6. Copy the Organization's ID and send the ID to info@kompitech.com.

  7. Once we receive your Organization ID, we will send you an email with an invite to join BLiTS. You should receive the invite email within an hour after we receive your Organization ID.

  8. Once you receive the email, click Accept button to Login to BLiTS.

  9. Complete your user details and you will be able to access BLiTS.

Manage your Organization, Users, Invite your Engineers, Customers and Other IT Providers

  • You can manage your users and permission in BLiTS just as you do in any ITSM system.

  • You can utilize BLiTS to manage all your tickets and deliver services more efficiently.

  • Create groups.

  • Define and automate manual tasks utilizing the Assignment groups and rules features.

After you have login to BLiTS as a super user, it is possible to manage the list of your users and engineers that have access to your organization account as well as having control over user rights and privileges. Your users can login to BLiTS using your Google or Office 365 or Active Directory account so you have full control of who can access your BLiTS and the customer service information.

Manage Your Organization

To add engineers and other users to your organization:

  1. First Login to BLiTS https://platform.kompitech.com/blits/ with your existing account as the Super User.

  2. Click on your profile icon in the top right corner and select Settings.

  3. The User tab are user settings data of your user account.

  4. The Roles tab are roles available, you can modify or create new roles.

  5. The List Users tab list all your users, modify or romove user permission.

  6. The Categories tab is to define the ticket category, e.g. Hardware, Software etc.

  7. The Reject Reasons tab is a reason available to reject a ticket.

  8. The Default Organization and Channel tab is your login defaults after login.

  9. The Assignment Groups tab is used to automate the routing of tickets to user groups.

  10. Use the User Groups tab to define your user groups.

  11. Use the Assignment Rules tab to automate the assignment of tickets.

  12. The Announcements tab is for displaying a general notification to all users.

Invite your Engineers and Users

For your engineers and your user to access BLiTS you will need to invite each user to BLiTS.

The process of adding engineers and users to your organization is through invite:

  • Your engineer can access BLiTS using the existing authentication system in place within your organization

  • You will need to add engineers to the Engineer role.

  • Add other users, like finance or your helpdesk to the Employee role.

  1. First Login to BLiTS https://platform.kompitech.com/blits/ with your existing account as the Super User.

  2. Click on your profile icon in the top right corner and select Settings.

  3. Click Invite a user.

  4. Fill in the Email and other details required.

  5. Under Roles, select Engineers.

  6. Click Submit to invite the user

  7. An email invite will be sent to the selected user.

  8. The invited user will have to accept the invitation by clicking on the link provided in the received email.

  9. The user will need to login using your organization email and their password.

  10. They will be required to configure their profile and login.

  11. After login, they will be able to view tickets assigned to your organization.

Invite othe IT Providers or your Customers as Organization

If you would like to collaborate with other IT partners you work with, you can easily share tickets with them by inviting any partner to join your organization. You can easily control the ticket information you share with any partner, you can invite your customers to join your network if you want to have a seamless data flow and have your customer updated with real-time ticket information without delays.

  • If other IT providers you work with are on BLiTS, you can share your tickets with your

partners, they will see the shared ticket but you are being able to control the information the partner can see within ticket. * Your partners will need to follow above Create Account step and obtain the

Organization ID

  • To invite your partners to your organization, follow below instructions.

  • You can easily add your engineers to BLiTS using the

The process to share tickets with other IT partner is through invite:

  1. First Login to BLiTS https://platform.kompitech.com/blits/ with your existing account as the Super User.

  2. Click on your profile icon in the top right corner and select Settings.

  3. Enter the Organization ID you received from the partner

  4. Under Organization role, select the appropriate role.

  5. Under Roles, select the appropriate role.

  6. Enter the organization email address.

  7. An email invite will be sent to organization admin.

  8. The invited user will have to accept the invitation by clicking on the link provided in the received email and they are able to join your network.

Change Account Details

To view or edit account billing details:

  1. First Login to your existing account https://platform.kompitech.com/ .

  2. Select any of your organization.

  3. Click on your profile icon in the top right corner and select My accounts.

  4. Select an account in the table.

  5. Choose Billing details tab.

  6. Account Billing details are displayed.

  7. Click on Edit button at the bottom.

  8. Fill in the correct information and select Save button at the bottom.
